In facilitating and participating in courageous conversations around DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging) topics, we suggest a 2-step approach, as this journey requires that we look at how we show up from various perspectives. Following a multi-step activity like this one can help break down some of the co-occurring and intersecting aspects of courageous and brave conversations to help bring clarity to the elements within the processes, moving us towards shared understanding and transformational change. This starts with each one of us embarking on our own journey, having some tools in hand, along with a willingness to learn.
